I am part of the Digital Education leadership team and am responsible for building relationships both across the Institution and with external companies, particularly those that supply our core institutional tools. I have particular responsibilities for our priorities around supporting assessment and feedback development, our CPD offerings both internally and externally, and maintaining links between Digital Education and CTL, BIA, and POD.

I am currently leading the Digital Education Assessment Team, responsible for the Assessment Tools Proof of Concept Project for 2023/24. The project aims to improve the staff and student experience of assessment and feedback through the use of two new digital assessment tools, Cadmus and Graide.

I also work with CoSS as Head of Digital Education, supporting the College with their digital education ambitions. My team and I offer expert advice and guidance on best practice in the use of digital tools for teaching and learning, and work with academics and professional services staff to improve the digital education offering across the College.

Biography

Having worked for five years at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute as a CPD Business Manager, I joined the Digital Education Team within the College of Life and Environmental Sciences (LES) in April 2020. In January 2022, I moved to a Senior Digital Education Developer role in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS). In June 2022 I took on the interim role of Head of HEFi Digital for EPS, and in November 2022 I became Head of Digital Education for LES, working across teams to support both Colleges. In July 2023 I also took on responsibility for the new Digital Education Assessment Team, leading a project to improve assessment and feedback through the use of two new digital assessment tools.

I have extensive experience setting up and running CPD courses and international collaborations, and have a particular interest in digital tools for STEM subjects.
