Slope form; landsliding and soil erosion with particular reference to mountains; human impact on mountain environments; granite landforms; soil geomorphology.

Current / recent research
Several research projects with the Fluvial & Ecological Processes research group, including projects on hydrogeomorphology and the hydyrology, geomorphology and ecology of cold climates.
