Dimitrios Reppas joined the Department of Economics at the University of Birmingham in January 2024. His previous academic experience includes the positions of Assistant Professor of Economics at Khalifa University of Science and Technology (United Arab Emirates) and of Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Manchester (UK).
He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland (USA) as a J. William Fulbright Scholar; a M.Sc. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland (USA); and a M.Sc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the Department of Economics, University College London-UCL (UK). His main research interests focus on mathematical applications of Microeconomic theory, such as the management of environmental and natural resource problems.
