Zain is a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice. His main teaching focus is on the undergraduate MPharm programme. He is involved in the teaching of clinical skills and key pharmacy practice competencies. In addition to this, Zain also manages Community Pharmacy placements.

Biography

Zain qualified from the University of Portsmouth in 2017, he then went on to complete his pre-registration training in Community Pharmacy.

Having spent the majority of his career as a community pharmacist, Zain developed various clinical skills which he used to deliver advanced pharmacy services such as vaccination clinics and sexual health services.

He then went on to become a Superintendent Pharmacist for an independent community pharmacy group, where he was responsible for ensuring statutory and professional requirements were always adhered to, whilst also providing clinical and professional leadership to all staff.

He remains clinically active working within Community Pharmacy.
