After obtaining her BSc in 2014, Juliette undertook a gap year that she spent working as a R&D intern in the Scent & Care Department at Symrise AG, in Germany. There she worked for six months in the Formulation Lab on projects for Home Care and Body Care, and six other months in the Syntheses Lab on project for Fine Fragrances.
In 2016, Juliette graduated as an Engineer in Chemistry at MSc level with a major in Formulation. This degree was completed by working for six months as a R&D intern in the Material Science group for Body Care Application at Firmenich SA, in Switzerland.
Passionate about research, she is now studying for her PhD at the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham. The project is funded by Mondelez International and is about the encapsulation of flavour and sweetener for gums to realize their burst and sustained releases.
