Will Moody is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK. He is trained and accredited in multi-modality imaging (TOE, CMR, Nuclear) working within the Inherited Cardiac Conditions Unit and is the lead Cardiologist for the Midlands Amyloidosis Service. In 2019, he undertook a post CCT fellowship in Inherited Cardiac Conditions at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, UK and in 2015, he was awarded a Joint ACC/BCS Imaging Preceptorship at Cedars-Sinai. After being awarded a BMedSc with First Class Honours, Dr Moody qualified with Honours in Medicine at the University of Birmingham in 2005. He was subsequently awarded a BHF Clinical Research Fellowship and completed his PhD in CMR in Birmingham on “The Effects of a Reduction in Renal function on Cardiovascular Structure and Function”. His research won the Top Original Clinical Science Paper published in Hypertension after he was shortlisted as a YIA Finalist at ACC 2015. More recently, he completed the inaugural British Cardiovascular Society Emerging Leaders 2019-2020 Programme when he focused efforts on developing a UK amyloidosis network in conjunction with the National Amyloidosis Centre.
