Frankie Lloyd completed her undergraduate MSci degree at the University of Birmingham, specializing in environmental health and precision toxicology. During her thesis, she worked under the supervision of Professor John Colbourne to explore the potential of D.magna as model organisms for understanding the affects of hazardous chemicals. Since, she has continued working with Professor John Colbourne and team through a variety of projects and facilities, including the Environment Care Consortium, the Daphnia Facility, Birmingham Metabolomics Training Centre, and the Centre for Environmental Research and Justice.
