I have also worked as a Teaching Associate in the English Language and Linguistics Department. Since 2019 I have been working as an EAP tutor on the Presessional programmes offered at the Birmingham International Academy. I then pursued a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Birmingham. Before joining the BIA, I taught ESOL for several years. My passion for research led me to pursue a PhD at the University of Birmingham, where I am currently investigating the relationship between language and gesture in bilingualism.
