Biography

I am a trade economist with a focus on regional trade and economic development. I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Bradford and recognised as a Fellow of the Advance Higher Education Academy. I have worked as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Surrey and a Teaching Assistant/Fellow at the University of Bradford and, at the University of Leeds. I have taught multiple modules including, microeconomics, international trade, economics for business, mathematics for economics, statistics and development economics. I have a publication in the Journal of International Development, the Conversation and co-authored a book chapter by Routledge. I am also a reviewer with Development Policy Review.

I have also worked with the University of Birmingham in the Dubai campus from 2018 to 2022.
