Qualifications

Amin obtained his Bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, followed by a Master's degree in Mathematical Methods in Economics and Finance from Pantheon Sorbonne University in Paris, France. He earned his PhD in Economics from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy. Additionally, he completed a postdoctoral research position at the University of Trier in Germany.

Biography

Amin earned his PhD in economics in 2017 from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy. Following that, he served as an Adjunct Professor at LUISS before joining the University of Birmingham Dubai in November 2023. His research focuses on the fields of behavioral and experimental economics/finance, cultural economics, and applied microeconometrics.
