Alisha is a Medical Statistician within Birmingham Clinical Trials Unit (BCTU) in the School of Health Sciences.

She works across a range of clinical areas including women’s health (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), Endocrinology and Diabetes.

Biography

Alisha graduated from Keele University in 2018 where she studied Mathematics and Psychology. She then went on to study for an MSc in Medical Statistics at the University of Leicester. 

Alisha joined BCTU at a Trainee Statistician in 2020 and subsequently progressed to a Trial Statistician in September 2022.

Alisha works across trials in a range of clinical areas. Her main portfolios within BCTU are trials related to women’s health (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), Endocrinology and Diabetes. She has also worked in trials related to Hepatology, Respiratory, Public health and Anaesthesia. She is an experienced user of both major statistical analysis software packages SAS and STATA as required by MHRA for analysis of clinical trials.
