Lauren is a Research Fellow (Methodologist) for the NIHR Specialist Centre for Public Health Research Support Service (RSS). As a methodologist, Lauren is part of the Pre-Award Research Design team, working alongside a group of expert methodologists who specialise in a diverse range of research approaches, including mixed methods, health economics, qualitative research, epidemiology, quasi-experimental design and public involvement in research. Within the public health sector, the team offers tailored guidance in research methodology, seeking funding opportunities, applying for competitive fellowships, helping with supervisor/mentor matching, advice from past awardees, and peer review of funding applications to ensure success.
