Biography

Versha qualified with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Management Science from De Montfort University in 2006. In 2007, she worked for Npower as an analyst.

Versha then went on to study for an MSc in Medical Statistics at the University of Leicester and graduated in 2009. Subsequently she joined BCTU as a Trainee Medical Statistician and has progressed to Senior Medical Statistician. She is now responsible for the trial design, statistical conduct, presentation and dissemination of a diverse portfolio of RCTs.

Versha is part of BCTU’s public engagement working group.

As part of the working group, Versha has undertaken in:

  • Promoting the CTU as a place of work
  • Showcasing the work the CTU undertakes as well as the many roles within the organisation
  • Providing support and careers advice to school and college students
  • Participating in programmes such as ‘In-2-science’, which include a face-to-face presentation and activities to showcase the trials unit and explore careers paths with an insight into designing a trial.
