About the Student Ambassador Scheme
I really wanted to give back to the school, and to help new students feel as welcome as I did when I first came. Becoming a Student Ambassador has enabled me to develop my personal and communication skills, as the job requires me to be outgoing and to talk to everyone. I have been able to work closely with members of staff, learnt new things and made new friends.
My top tips for prospective Birmingham students
- Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try something new
- Join a sports team or society – it’s the best way to make friends
- Enjoy yourself and make the most of every opportunity. Choose the place that feels right to you, you’ll be happy wherever you end up!
