3.1 million adults in the UK have 1 or more high-cost loans in the previous 12 months. Those on the lowest incomes pay the most to borrow money just to buy essentials. Credit needs to be fair.
There has been a massive increase in borrowing over recent years. Credit card borrowing rates are higher now than they were at the peak of the 2008 financial crisis.
Join us to discuss how we can make credit fairer and to help spark an important conversation about the UK’s growing reliance on high cost credit, and what this means for the 3.1 million adults using these loans.
