New evidence for a new future: Adult Social Care Research in the West Midlands

- Thursday 25 February 2021 (10:00-12:00)
In November 2019 a new partnership was launched to bridge the long-standing gap between the worlds of practice and research.
This is led by ADASS WM and the University of Birmingham, funded through the West Midlands Applied Research Collaboration, and builds on capacity provided by the School for Social Care Research and the BRACE Rapid Evaluation Centre. The partnership seeks to connect adult social care stakeholders in the region with leading academics at the Universities of Birmingham, Warwick and Keele.
To provide an opportunity for practice and research to meet, discuss and create together, a major virtual event for the West Midlands is being held on the 25th February 2020 from 10am to 12pm. As well as key-note speeches from leading thinkers from lived experience, research and policy communities, there will be interactive sessions in which current evidence and future plans from leading social care researchers in the region will be shared and debated.
