Mark Goodacre is Associate Professor in New Testament Studies in the Department of Religion at Duke University in North Carolina, and was Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham until 2005. He has published numerous books and articles on his research interests, which include the Synoptic Gospels, the Historical Jesus and the Gospel of Thomas. Alongside his award-winning website, The New Testament Gateway, he also maintains an academic blog and a podcast called NT Pod.
