Title of PhD: The Role of Attention in Reaching Movements
Supervisor: Dr Dietmar Heinke
My primary research interest lies with the way in which the attentional system allocates resources to a target we wish to acquire, particularly when the target is surrounded by other distracters. This work relies on visual search experiments where the subject must detect and reach toward the ‘odd-one-out’.
