Charlotte Webber is undertaking doctoral research into the effects of air quality on human cognition. She is using experimental manipulations of air quality combined with brain-imaging techniques and cognitive testing in order to explore the effects of exposure to varying levels of air pollutants on learning, decision making and spatial navigation in humans.

Biography

Charlotte Webber previously studied Psychology at undergraduate level at the University of Birmingham before undertaking the PhD position. During her period as an undergraduate, Charlotte also gained voluntary experience as a research assistant in the Psychology department, as wells as working on a collaborative project with a researcher at the University of Brighton.

Charlotte Webber is an active member of the University of Birmingham Athletics Club, training on a daily basis and competing whenever possible.
