Physics and Astronomy Graduates

As a Physicist your skills in solving problems, ability in Mathematics and computing and scientific knowledge will set you up to succeed in a very wide range of careers.

As a Birmingham graduate you will be prepared for the world of work during your degree with presentations, team work and project work embedded throughout. You will also have access to our excellent career planning support. This includes an annual Physics careers fair and talk series as well as the University Careers Network. This is a team of specialist careers advisors who will support you throughout your studies and for up to two years after you graduate. They provide support, guides, workshops, and one-on-one sessions in areas such as CV writing, interview preparation, finding an internship and mentoring.
