The BNurs Nursing programme at the University of Birmingham has been ranked 7th in the UK by the Complete University Guide 2017.
The league table takes into account entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality and graduate prospects of courses across the UK.
Professor Fiona Irvine, Head of Nursing, said of the news, “I am delighted about this notable success for the Nursing Department, which reflects the excellent achievements of our staff and students. The academic and clinical performance of our students is outstanding and this is demonstrated by the excellent employment record of our new graduates. The award of Nursing Times Student Nurse of the Year for Children’s nursing to Samantha Lunn, is an example of the academic ability, clinical excellence, character, adaptability, and drive that typifies nursing students at the University of Birmingham.”
