Ash Bhat is a PhD student in the Analysis group. Ash’s research interests lie in the intersection of functional analysis, discrete mathematics and geometric measure theory. Currently, Ash is working on bijections between finite sets of points in the d-dimensional integer lattice, and methods to measure the Lipschitz constant (how far two points can get stretched) of such maps. Such maps have an intimate relationship with the Jacobian of certain functions.
