Odd Priest

Jonathan Silk conductor

An immersive musical experience - a sonic journey through the dystopia of Future Past.

Odd Priest is on a mission as one of the ‘remnant’ to deliver a message of hope to the ‘New World’.

Reisz ‘Odd Priest’ Amos is a multidisciplined artist from Birmingham. The former Artistic Associate of Birmingham Opera Company, he plies his trade as a theatre maker, director, singer/songwriter, and musician.

A collaboration with the University Jazz Orchestra, the performance features newly commissioned arrangements of Odd Priest's original music, masterfully reworked by Jonathan Silk.

The Jazz Orchestra provide the perfect backdrop for this musical storytelling experience in which Odd Priest must traverse the wilderness and is forced to face his own demons.

In order to reach the promised land, there must be… CHURCH IN THE WILD.
