  • Covent Garden Sinfonia

  • Ben Palmer conductor

Described as ‘The Mother of all Horrors’, Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho regularly features in polls of the best movies of all time. Hitchcock’s direction coupled with Bernard Herrmann’s iconic score, featuring arguably one of the most famous themes in cinema, make Psycho a classic of the screen.

When Marion Crane embezzles thousands of dollars from her employer’s client, she goes on the run and checks into a remote hotel run by Norman Bates and his overbearing mother. But as is often the way, all is not as it seems.

Founder, director, and University of Birmingham alumnus Ben Palmer conducts the Covent Garden Sinfonia, one of the UK’s foremost orchestras specialising in the performance of live film music.
