Featuring ‘wonderfully expressive and fabulously exciting’ playing by the Callino Quartet (Irish Examiner), the anguished and stormy brilliance of Mendelssohn’s final string quartet is paired with brand new contemporary works. Follow composer John Woolrich on a meandering journey down a strange mystical river - a world premiere performance of a third quartet from of A Book of Inventions, alongside a brand new work by one of the University’s talented student composers.
