Our research strategy has been effective in raising the international profile of our published research output, with staff contributing to leading journals in the discipline and with review articles, review symposia and debate pieces frequently prompted by the published work of members of the School.

Critical Policy Analysis was launched in May 2007 by the Institute of Local Government Studies at Birmingham University to take the place of a previous INLOGOV-produced journal, Local Governance.
