Sue has been a practising educational psychologist for more than 25 years, and, in addition to her teaching and research responsibilities within the University, continues to practice as a chartered educational psychologist on a 0.1 full-time equivalent basis.

Teaching

Teaching principally relates to postgraduate professional training in educational psychology, and post-qualification research programmes for practising educational psychologists in such areas as (normal and atypical) child and adolescent development, mental health, therapeutic interventions and organisational development.

Research

Research interests centre upon child and adolescent mental health, and the development of the capacity of schools to promote mental health.
