Join the Department of Disability, Inclusion and Special Needs (DISN) for an online panel meeting and public discussion with parents and education professionals (SENCO, Education Psychologist, Teacher and Outreach professional).

They will discuss the challenges parents of children with autism experience in educational contexts, particularly when acquiring an Education, Health and Care plan, as well as difficulties in navigating the education system to gain support for their autistic children. 

This discussion meeting will give professionals broader and in-depth understanding of challenges parents experience and its impact on their children's educational experiences. The audience can contribute by sharing your knowledge of existing policy and ways educational professionals support parents in general, and their autistic children.
