The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on disabled people in the Global South

This webinar will present the findings from a literature review on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on disabled people in the Global South, particularly in Low-and-Middle-Income countries, which was conducted as part of the AHRC-funded GCRF Network+ Disability Under Siege project to support a disability-inclusive recovery from COVID-19.

Research Fellow Vera Kubenz will present the key findings and themes emerging from the literature. Mohua Paul, Vice Chairperson at the Access Bangladesh Foundation, will then speak about first-hand experiences by disabled people in Bangladesh. There will be time for questions at the end.
