Billie Major currently holds the position of Corporate Vice President and Head of Delivery for Capgemini Aspire. She graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1980 and now leads a team of 2,000 IT professionals delivering and supporting systems across a wide range of solutions for Capgemini's biggest account: HM Revenue & Customs. The solutions developed by Billie’s teams collected £400bn for the UK Government last year.
A Vice President of Capgemini for over ten years, last year, her team met time, cost and quality targets across some 200 projects. Many of the programmes have won IT Industry awards across a variety of categories.
Billie also acts as a mentor on Capgemini's Leadership Academy programme - a fast-track training Programme for future executives. Billie was named as the "Everywoman Technology Team Leader of the Year" in 2011 in recognition of her achievements and received her award from the Princess Royal.
