Since graduation, I have been working to expand my own business operations. I started a travel company called Dragon Holidays BD. It’s a small/medium sized start up company based in Bangladesh which provides tour packages, hotel bookings, tourist visa processing and flights. We achieved a sales revenue of £250,000 sales revenue last year and aim to see a 50% increase this year.

One of the most important things I learned from my time at the University of Birmingham is how to manage people in a team. Having different people around the world in one team provided me with the opportunity to work with others with different operating methods or values. This kind of experience is helpful once you have achieved your qualification.
