The Future of Food and Farming

Dr Jane Glover would like to invite you to a half-day event to be part of the conversation on the future of food and farming. The purpose of the event is to gather your experiences and views around the changes for sustainability in farming, particularly what this means to you. The morning will finish with a tour of the Sutton Bonington University Farm.
The event aims to provide a platform for those who are most affected by policies and regulations and include their voices in the design. You will receive feed back on the outcomes and progress from the workshops.
The event will take place on Friday the 23rd of November on the Sutton Bonington Campus (Loughborough LE12 5RD) in Main Building (Committee Room). Parking will be provided. You will not be required to bring anything and the schedule of events is below:

10.00 – 10.15: Introduction
10.15 – 11.00: Sustainable agriculture opening discussion
11.00 – 12.00: Sustainability vision (how could sustainability work better for you)
12.00 – 12.30: Lunch (provided)
12.30 – 13.30: Reflection on experiences
13.20 – 13.55: Wrap up discussion
14.00 – 15.00: Tour of Sutton Bonington University Farm
