Education and Training
The Birmingham Centre for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research started in 2009 and has led two collaborative EPSRC funded CDTs with over 10 million pounds of investment, training over 100 PhD students. The programme developed in the CDT is now offered for self-funded candidates in the PhD with integrated study offering. We also provide masters training via taught and research programmes. Our students have gone on to work in a diverse range of employment from patent attorney to banking and business development. But the vast majority have continued working in research both in private sector organisations and research insitutions, many contributing to the development of fuel cells for transport and buildings.
Here you will find information regarding education and opportunities at the School of Chemical Engineering as well as training workshops and placements.
