I was based at the Research Complex at Harwell, Oxfordshire, as a Research Fellow from the University of Manchester. 

What attracted you to the University of Birmingham?

The Birmingham Fellow position and the people at Birmingham. 

What are you hoping to accomplish while in Birmingham?

Become a Birmingham Hero for developing novel biomaterials for tissue regeneration.

What medical discovery are you hoping will be achieved in your lifetime? 

Genome editing technology to treat people with genetic defects and for this to be available to everyone.
