- Dates
- Tuesday 16 January 2024 (09:30-10:30)
Do you want to learn more about weather and climate, particularly how they affect our daily life? The monitoring of meteorological variables, together with the knowledge and modelling of underlying processes, are key to understanding our interaction with the natural environment. Discover how this programme provides comprehensive training in understanding, modelling and predicting atmospheric processes and how these affect both natural and human systems. Our online open day will inspire you to take your studies to the next level on one of our postgraduate taught courses in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences. Join us online 09:30-10:30 on Tuesday 16 January 2024 to find out more.
This well-established programme was developed in response to industry and research institution requirements for applied meteorologists and climatologists. This demand continues, partially due to the growing attention of the society to climate change, its mitigation and adaptation to it.
At our online Postgraduate Online Open Day, you will be able to meet and ask questions to our researchers for the following course:
- MSc Introduction to Applied Meteorology and Climatology
There will also be sessions on admissions and accommodation so that you learn how to enhance your application and student experience when you come to Birmingham.
