Offer Guide for subjects requiring DBS or FTP checks

Now that you have your conditional offer, you need to inform the University and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) of your decision. Using the UCAS Track service, you can firmly accept your offer of a place. If you do not reply by the deadline set by UCAS, your offer will be declined by default.

There are conditions attached to your offer that are required by all postgraduates applying for a programme during which you may come into contact with children and/or vulnerable adults.

Conditions of your offer

Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check	Applicants are required to complete an enhanced DBS check. Applicants who firmly accept their place will be sent a DBS pack by the University which should be completed and returned to us.
Fitness to Practice	Your programme is subject to the University’s fitness to practise regulations. You will be expected to sign a programme specific code of conduct when you register upon your course.

Full-time international and non-UK nationals are guaranteed University postgraduate accommodation if they submit the online accommodation application form by 31 July 2022. 

UK nationals studying on a postgraduate programme are not eligible for University accommodation. There is a limited supply of University-managed accommodation in houses owned by the University or private providers. The Accommodation Services LIVING office is located on the ground floor of University Centre and can assist with any help and advice you may require; along with a contract checking service for renting in the private sector.

If you have accepted your offer and met the conditions you will receive a communication from the University before the start of your programme. Information regarding registration (such as where and how to register) and other important details will be included in this communication.
