Overview

This short course forms one part of the Post Graduate Certificate programme in Multidisciplinary Healthcare Simulation. This course will provide you with an understanding of non-technical skills vital to enable the exploration of these crucial concepts in multidisciplinary healthcare simulation teaching and learning.

The formal taught component is delivered over 3 full days.

Assessment

Methods of assessment comprise; an oral presentation and a 3000 word essay.

Coordinators

The teaching will be delivered by Dr Sandeep Randhawa, Academic General Practitioner with a specialist interest and expertise in medical education.

Course prerequisite

Standard entry requirement. A relevant first degree or an equivalent professional qualification is required

Non-credit short course

The microcredential and the non-credit short course follow the same course structure, the difference between them both is with the non-credit short course you do not take the assessment at the end therefore you will not receive credits but will recieve a certificate of completion, this certificate cannot be converted to credits. 

Please note if you apply for the non-credit short course, you cannot swap to the microcredential version once registered.
