Taught by experts in clinical oncology, this five day course you will develop a conceptual knowledge of cytotoxic and novel treatment strategies of cancer and learn to apply this knowledge to the systemic and radiological management of particular cancers.

This module will explain the scientific basis on which cytotoxic and novel treatment strategies for cancer have been and are being developed.  An overview of how radiation affects cells and how this is utilised in radiotherapy will also be given. This conceptual knowledge will be integrated with information on the systemic and radiological management of particular cancers and detailed discussions take place on how particular cases might be treated and novel approaches integrated with current best practice.

MCQ examination (1 hour) plus 1000 written assignment

Non-credit short course

The microcredential and the non-credit short course follow the same course structure, the difference between them both is with the non-credit short course you do not take the assessment at the end therefore you will not receive credits but will recieve a certificate of completion, this certificate cannot be converted to credits. 

Please note if you apply for the non-credit short course, you cannot swap to the microcredential version once registered.
