HEFi Festival 2021

HEFi Festival Programme
The HEFi Festival 2021 will be delivered across a whole week from Monday 5th July – Friday 9th July 2021 online.
The festival will showcase a variety of live, online CPD for academic and professional service colleagues at University of Birmingham. The festival this year has been reshaped to focus on some of the themes carried through from the planned HEFi20 Conference, reflecting on our experiences through the pandemic, and future-facing to engage participants in a conversation about what teaching in the future will look like.
We are extremely pleased to be welcoming keynote speakers from across the higher education and business sectors. These include keynotes originally scheduled for the HEFi20 Conference and some new additions to explore some of the future opportunities that teaching in the post-COVID landscape will offer.
As part of our enhanced festival we also have a range of sessions from academics within our Colleges, and external speakers, who will explore themes such as the digital education landscape, the first year experience, personal tutoring, equality and diversity. The festival programme will also feature a selection of CPD sessions delivered by our Educational Development and Digital teams in HEFi.
All registration for our events at the HEFi Festival 2021 will be via Eventbrite. Please take a look at the programme to find out more and to book your session(s).
We look forward to seeing you all online!
