Award Description

Engineering Enhancement Scholarship for UK undergraduate subject students enables you to be recognised and rewarded for your excellent academic achievements before arriving as a student at the University of Birmingham. In addition to initial scholarships, you may also be eligible to apply to other prizes and bursaries during your time at university to celebrate your continued academic success. 

Value of Award

The Engineering Enhancement Scholarship consists of £3000 during year 1 semester 1 for students who meet the criteria below.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this award you must: 

• Be classified as UK for fees on your acceptance to the university.
• Have a POLAR4 score of 1
• Be accepted to one of the following courses for year 1 entry in 2022 after placing it as firm choice in UCAS:
  • Civil Engineering BEng
  • Civil Engineering MEng
  • Civil Engineering with Industrial Experience MEng
  • Civil Engineering with Industrial Year MEng
  • Civil Engineering with International Study MEng
  • Civil and Railway Engineering BEng
