The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon tells the story of the life and work of William Shakespeare. They care for over one million museum, library and archive items, which share the story of Shakespeare, his family, his town, his works and his influence on the world. The Trust's website includes a host of digital resources.
The Library of Birmingham
The world's first Shakespeare library is housed at the Library of Birmingham in the Shakespeare Memorial Room. There are over 100,000 books, images, playbills and theatrical ephemera collected from all over the world for more than 150 years, in 94 different languages.
Association of Performing Arts Collections (APAC)
APAC is a membership organisation for professionals, specialists, and other individuals working with or interested in performing arts heritage in the United Kingdom and Ireland. They aim to inspire the widest possible participation in in the enrichment of all performing arts heritage collections. APAC provides a number of resources and shares volunteer and placement opportunities across their member organisations.

Archives Hub: Interpreting Shakespeare
Archives Hub includes descriptions of archival material relating to Shakespeare's life - including questions of identity, authorship - and also material relating to translations, adaptations and performances of his work. Archives Hub also provides links to other organisations dedicated to the study and performance of Shakespeare's work.
Folger Shakespeare Library
Folger Shakespeare Library was gifted to the American people, which has the world's largest Shakespeare collection. The Folger collection is vast and varied, including: about 260,000 printed books; 60,000 manuscripts; 90,000 prints, drawings, photographs, paintings, and other works of art; and a wealth of performance history, from a quarter of a million playbills to films, recordings, and stage costumes.
