Join us on Wednesday 7th August 2024 for a Family Fun Day all about the Ice Age! Learn about Ice Age animals and how they adapted to live in the cold climate, see some of our fantastic Ice Age fossils, and take part in crafts and activities.
Timetable:
11:30am and 2pm - Evolution of Life Gallery -
Join Jake and discover more about the Ice Age and see extraordinary Ice Age fossils from the Museum collections. This event runs on a first-come, first served basis so please arrive early in order to avoid disappointment.
1pm and 3:30pm - Active Earth Gallery - Story time with Jake!
Other activities (10am-4:30pm) -
Education Room - Drop in anytime to have a look at more Ice Age objects and ask our dedicated staff and volunteers questions.
Ice Age letter trail (pick up from Reception) and Ice Age arts and crafts (by the Jurassic display).
