Easter Holiday Activities: All About Air
- Location
- The Exchange: 3 Centenary Square Birmingham B1 2DR
- Dates
- Wednesday 20 April (10:30) - Friday 22 April 2022 (15:30)
There’s more to air than meets the eye. Though it’s mostly made up of gas, it also carries tiny particles like pollen, soot and dust. And while we’re all aware it’s vital for life, we may not realise it’s our planet's insulation too, stopping it from getting too hot or too cold.
Join us at The Exchange this Easter as we explore what’s in our air. Learn about the work being done to make it cleaner and explore our exhibition, The Air We Breathe – why not do an interactive trail, take part in a quiz, play some games or make your own pollution catcher to take home?
Wednesday 20 April – Friday 22 April drop in between 10:30–15:30 daily. Although these are drop in sessions, booking is recommended to ensure your space is guaranteed.
This activity is presented as part of The Air We Breathe,a brand-new public programme, with an exhibition, activities and events that explore the close relationships between us, our environment and our air quality. From a hydrogen train to a sci-fi forest, discover the work being done by the University of Birmingham to deliver clean air both here in Birmingham and around the world and how you can get involved.
