Join us for a relaxed evening of spooky tales and the launch of the Haunted Birmingham, National Literacy Trust’s new story writing campaign encouraging people to write scary stories that are set in our wonderful, but oftentimes spooky city!

The event will include readings of communitywritten ghost stories, an AI ghost storywriting demo, creative writing workshops, and a sneak peek around The Exchange.

Suitable for budding writers aged 13+ and adults (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult). All materials will be provided to help you start writing your own stories.

This event is presented as part of Booktober at The Exchange. Running throughout October 2024, the programme celebrates the joy of creative writing and reading in all its forms and will be bursting with activities, events and opportunities to explore the magic of literature.
