One of the greatest joys of a good book is sharing it with someone!

We are growing our communal TBR (to be read) list with a free Book Exchange which will be taking place all over The Banking Hall throughout October.

Taking part couldn’t be easier.

Bring a much-loved used book to The Exchange, take a bookmark to write a recommendation note, leave your book and note in our Book Exchange areas, and take a new used book to enjoy!

This event is presented as part of Booktober at The Exchange. Running throughout October 2024, the programme celebrates the joy of creative writing and reading in all its forms and will be bursting with activities, events and opportunities to explore the magic of literature.
