- Free, no booking required
- Dates
- Thursday 1 June 2023 (10:30-15:00)
This half term we’re thinking about the parts of their culture and identity that people carry with them when they move, perhaps after they’ve been forced out of their home by war or difficult circumstances.
Do you have an object that reminds you of a special place? It could be a toy, a family photo or maybe something that’s completely unique to you.
Bring it along to The Exchange or draw a picture of it and we’ll photograph it for our online exhibition. You’ll get to make your own museum label and download a digital photo of your object.
This workshop is presented as part of A Place to Call Home, an exhibition and events programme exploring homelessness, adult social care and displacement through the lens of University of Birmingham research and people who have lived through them.
Suitable for children aged 5 years and over, but everyone is welcome.
