Join us for a craft, drama and storytelling workshop inspired by Swallows Kiss, an uplifting story filled with light, love and birdsong by writer Sita Brahmachari and illustrator Jane Ray.

Together we’ll explore community, connection and the refugee experience, with a reading from the book and a drama session where you’ll bring your own hand swallows to life. After a break, you can take part in art activities inspired by Jane Ray’s illustrations.

The session will be led by artist Sarah Hamilton Baker, a practitioner with extensive experience in theatre making and arts facilitation.

"What an awesome session! Interactive, well-paced and planned, thoughtfully exploring a deeper message and space to be creative and have lots of fun!" - past participant
