As a leading sponsor of the Commonwealth Games 2022 and the Official Partner of the Queen’s Baton Relay, the University of Birmingham is proud to present a Scientific Webinar on Applied Research to Improve Sports Performance. This online event will be led by the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, and co-hosted by the Physical Education and Sports Science academic group within the National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
The event features speakers from the University of Birmingham, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Sports Institute, and the National Youth Sports Institute (Singapore). It will be a platform to share multidisciplinary, cross-cultural and inter-sector experiences and perspectives on how applied sports science research can be developed and used to improve sports performance. Experts in research and practice will share their insights on select topics relevant to applied sports science and there will be plenty of opportunity for delegates to ask questions to the speakers. The Webinar will be of interest to sports science, fitness and rehabilitation practitioners, academics and students interested in the application of sports science research.
