About: Students attending this masterclass will take part in four rotational stations including:
Station 1: Bioscience Jenga and the anatomy puzzle
Station 2: Patient hygiene (4D - moulage)
Station 3: Injection technique
Station 4: Basic life support
Prospective nursing students will be given the opportunity to fully engage and interact with the equipment to sample some of the basic nursing skills taught here at the University of Birmingham. We hope to increase awareness and inspire interest in the modern nursing profession. Please note that some of the mannequins and moulage used during this class may be disturbing to some attendees, and we ask that participants are mindful of this when registering.
Additional information: Schools will be limited to 12 places for this class. Individual bookings can be made by students in Years 12 and 13.
