This seminar is the second of a two part series offering support and information to present and future company directors.
As an academic at the University you may from time to time find yourself offered the opportunity to acquire a shareholding in a spinout company. This 2nd seminar is being led by Peter McHugh of Pinsent Masons and will be focused on explaining what it means to be a shareholder. Topics covered include: typical shareholder obligations, the impact of dilution, and legal terms that are often introduced by key shareholders and investors around preferential rights of control and returns. This session is aimed at academics who are either already shareholders in spinout companies or who may be considering involvement in a company in the future.
Cost: Free of charge
